Bio. Abridged: Rati Gupta grew up in the small town of Michigan City, IN. She started her dance training at an early age, first with the traditional Indian technique of Kathak, and then later in ballet, tap, and jazz. She become the captain of her high school dance team and was named a Universal Dance Association All Star, awarded for excellence in her pom and hip hop skills.
