Bio. Djakarta - Executive Producer, New American Divas, is a native of Washington, DC, she first developed her talent at the prestigious Kennedy Center, Howard University and Ellington School of Arts where she trained in theater. There she developed a passion for performance while playing a major part in several stage productions including Antigone, Ubu Roi, For Colored Girls and A Day of Absence. Later, while majoring in psychology at Trinity University in DC, she traveled to Australia, Indonesia and Singapore where she explored the cultures and religions of the modern and indigenous peoples of that region.
